MANON FORTIER
PRESIDENT, April 2011 - present
Manon joined the shelter to join in the effort to provide the homeless animals
with better living conditions until the find a forever home. She brings her
organizational and business skills to help the shelter run smoothly and
efficiently.
MATT MCNEIL
BOARD MEMBER, April 2011 - present
Matt and his wife visited the shelter with Christmas gifts for the animals and
to donate a new digital camera to shelter. After meeting with Manon and
learning the shelter did not have their own website, the McNeil's became
volunteers and took on the task of creating the new Sullivan County SPCA
website. Matt moved to Sullivan County in early 2006 accepting the Director of
Marketing position at Bethel Woods Center for the Arts. He enjoys using his
marketing and PR experience to bring the shelter and the community closer
together.
KRIS DOUGLAS
SECRETARY, April 2012 - present
Kris is a yard sale fanatic and donated many items to the shelter before
becoming a member in 2010. Her many years working in an office now benefit
the shelter in many ways. She is a lover of cats (and dogs) and spends time
in the cat room helping to socialize them so they will be ready for their forever
homes.
